We kick off  2021 with a performance based exhibition from artist Emma Varker whose focus is on new methods of presenting together video performance along with live performance works, that are especially prevalent during the pandemic. Addressing themes of control, power and trauma in personal narratives explored through performative actions.  Three feminist performance pieces where two are projected and interplay with a live performance during the opening event.

Exploring the female body as a political site, a tool of dissent and of protest. The work will be grounded in instances relating to the me too movement its reception and outcomes in Australia.
