Inner West Contemporary Art Exhibition
2019 CREATIVE TRAILS EVENT / Midjuburi Precinct
We’re hosting a group exhibition exclusively for artists that have studios in the Inner West industrials of Marrickville. The exhibition will be a part of the rebranded Creative Trails event under the EDGE program. A selection of Inner West artists will be selected to exhibit for two weeks.
High Exposure
This exhibition will coincide with the EDGE / Creative Trails Midjuburi Precinct Event that runs over the weekend of 3 & 4 August 2019.
We’re looking for visual artists that work in the industrial areas of Marrickville to exhibit in this group exhibition. It’s free to apply and only a handful of artists will be selected. There is an exhibition fee of $200 with 25% commission on sales inclusive of all expenses. We hope to have funding for the exhibition for next year’s event.
It’s a great opportunity to connect to the hundreds of people that attend the Creative Trails Event each year. This year the Inner West Council are investing a substantial amount of money into the event as it comes under the umbrella of the week long immersive arts and cultural program EDGE.
Along with having all studios open, we have two days of activities programmed with a full day of performance art on the Saturday and Art Demonstrations on the Sunday in our Level One Atelier.

The exhibition fee is $200 and a gallery commission of 25% on sales. Fee includes –
- Install and deinstall of the exhibition
- The opening event expenses on 24 July
- The Creative Trail expenses on the weekend of 3 & 4 August
- Staff in the Gallery
- 25% Commission is charged on sales.
