We begin our annual program for adult beginners with DRAW I / Elements of Drawing.
Our beginner courses weave left brain concepts with right brain creativity so the concepts are integrated with body memory through the development of skills. Students will have a full understanding of why artists use certain approaches to observation, line, tone, and structure in drawing and how to use those skills to push creative ideas and techniques.
A solid beginning to learn the foundations of drawing concepts & techniques, this 7 week drawing course is designed for beginners.
We begin each class with left-brain focussed written material and that gently segues into creative exercises that rewire your brain to see the world around you in a different light, using the most simple drawing exercises & techniques that are engaging, challenging, and very satisfying.
Perfect for beginners or anyone that needs to fill some gaps in their knowledge and techniques.
Tutor: Award winning Artist Carmel Byrne
