Perceptual Dissonance
Rebecca Selleck
Exhibition runs 4 – 14 February, 2016
Opens Wednesday 3 February, 6 – 8pm
We kick off the new year with Perceptual Dissonance, an exhibiton from Rebecca Selleck.
Rebecca’s compelling imagery combines sculpture and digital photography that invokes “conflicting perceptions of non-human animals” to create a perceptual dissonance characterised by the clash of empathy and disengagement.
Rebecca is a recent honours graduate from ANU School of Art and has received a number of awards including the prestigious Peter and Lena Karmel Anniversary Prize for academic achievement.
