Monique Bedwell Artist Talk

Artist Talk: Sunday 14 October, 3pm

Monique has just undertaken our mentoring program and will give an Artist Talk on her work and it’s development over the past eight months.

Monique is presenting an installation that includes works incorporating used tea bags. Monique will talk about the intricate process of preparing the tea bags ready for sewing and painting and the visual effects produced from painting on different surfaces, along with the process of developing the ideas and preparing for the exhibition.

Works included in the installation are paintings on tea bags, blankets sewn from tea bags, and an installation.
